It’s exciting to see people who come from different backgrounds come together to serve a common goal. We believe that a college education is an absolute must, and realize there are a lot of people in our community who cannot avail themselves of any education. That’s why it’s so important to give back.

We give to 10,000 Degrees because we feel that if you truly believe in something, that it’s the right thing, and you have the ability, you’re obligated to give. And you have to build it in as a legacy too.

By putting 10,000 Degrees as a beneficiary into our estate plans, we’re setting an example for our children. We didn’t just say something was important, we showed that 10,000 Degrees is important even after our deaths and we feel strongly that 10,000 Degrees should continue even when we are gone.

When you join the 10,000 Degrees Legacy society, you’re not pledging a specific amount. You’re just pledging that you will do it. This is our future and it’s all part of what we can do today.
